Ronaldo Hints at Al Nassr Exit with Cryptic Message

Cristiano Ronaldo sparked speculation on Tuesday with a cryptic social media post reading, “This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Gratitude to everyone,” accompanied by a photo of him in his Al Nassr jersey. The message has stirred rumors that he may have played his final game for the Saudi Pro League side.

Ronaldo scored in Al Nassr’s 3-2 defeat to Al Fateh on Monday, marking his 801st club goal and 99th for Al Nassr. With his contract set to expire in June 2025, this farewell-like message has intensified speculation about his next move.

Since joining Al Nassr in 2022, Ronaldo has been a standout performer, scoring 99 goals in 105 appearances. He ended the current season as the league’s top scorer with 25 goals, although Al Nassr failed to qualify for next season’s AFC Champions League.

Adding fuel to the fire, reports emerged last week that a Brazilian club had made a lucrative offer to the Portuguese legend. That deal could allow him to participate in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13. Brazilian clubs such as Botafogo, Fluminense, Flamengo, and Palmeiras are already confirmed participants.

While nothing is official yet, Ronaldo’s recent message strongly suggests that his time in Saudi Arabia might be coming to an end. The football world now eagerly awaits to see where the next chapter of the superstar’s storied career will unfold.
