Creating an account with Melbat is a requirement for both the greater safety of your data and to control the suspicious activity of players. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of Melbat, you are guaranteeing that your data will be protected and that you have the ability to take appropriate measures in order to keep your account safe.
General Terms
Melbat allows wagers to be placed on sports and other occasions (hereby referred to as events). All bets must adhere to the pre-existing regulations, and it is the responsibility of the bettor to be acquainted with these rules and accept them.
If you want to use our services, you agree to provide us with accurate and up-to-date Personal Information. If your Personal Information changes in any way, you are required to update this information and details promptly. We may also request documents that may confirm your name and address.
If you’re not sure if the information you’re providing is correct, please contact the bank that issued your credit card. If the information doesn’t match, you may be unable to deposit or withdraw money, or you may have to pay a penalty.
Melbat may refuse to let you create an account without warning you. The reason for that is if we believe that you have provided misleading information, it would not be fair to allow you to create an account. This is because your true identity would not be represented accurately by the account you create, so we will require some proof. For example, you might need to provide a government-issued identification number, your social security number, or your birthdate.
Melbat has the right to modify and add to the current regulations and payout procedures without giving individual notification. The terms of any bets already placed will remain as is, while all bets made afterwards will be subject to any alterations.
Opening a bank account and depositing funds will be performed in compliance with the current regulations.
The payouts are distributed in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Clients are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords and account details. Melbat ensures that any such information is kept secure. They will not bear any liability in case of the data being disclosed to a third party. Any operations that are conducted using the login/gaming account number and the registered password are considered legitimate. The only limitation is the amount available in the gaming account. If a Client believes their information has been compromised, they can contact the Melbat administrator and request the alteration of their current password.
Melbat cannot be held liable for any harm or losses caused by the utilisation of the website or by the contents of the website. The same goes for any use or misuse of the website contents by any individual, problems connecting to the site, difficulty using the site, slowdowns in website functioning or data transferring, breakdowns in communication lines, or any typos, typing errors, or omissions in the website’s contents.
Rules of different kinds of sports have priority in relation to the general rules.
We strive to ensure the accuracy of the site’s content, but all information provided about the current event should be taken as informational only. We cannot guarantee the correctness of the current score or the time of the match. We advise utilising other sources of information for verification.
Wagers are accepted in reference to the list of imminent events along with the probability of their outcomes, provided by Melbat.
Betting regulations (handicaps, payouts, caps for parleys, stake limits, etc.) can be altered at any point, however, previously placed wagers will be treated with their original terms. Bets shall not be accepted that exceed the amount in the gambler’s account.
All bets must be placed before the event starts. Any bets made afterwards are not valid and the amount wagered will be returned to the bettor. These wagers will be removed from parlay accounts. However, there are certain exceptions for in-play bets that are placed during the event, which are valid and only refunded if they are made after the event has finished. The updates to the results during a live event are strictly for informative purposes. If the outcome is incorrectly displayed, this cannot be used as a reason to void the bet. Melbat is not liable for any inaccuracies in the live results.
The data and time listed in the bet are provided solely for informational purposes. If a bet has already been placed before the event starts, the incorrect date specified is not grounds for a refund. The actual starting time of the event is used for settling bets, which is determined by the official documents of the entity organising the competition, match, etc. as referenced by Melbat when gathering information.
No liability can be assumed by Melbat in the situation where the players’ family names, teams’ names, and cities’ names of the activities on which the wagers are put on are misspelt.
Should there be any errors from the staff in the creation and announcement of the wagering line, or a significant malfunction in the computer program which calculates the betting line (clear mistakes in the odds, disparities in odds in different positions, etc.), or any fraudulent activities by an employee of Melbat that contravenes the regulations outlined in these Rules, Melbat has the right to void any agreement (including bets made before or after the start of the event in question due to the mistake), refuse to carry out any obligations of the agreement and reimburse the bet to the Client.
Once a wager is placed and a confirmation is issued (including a notification on the website and a wager number), it cannot be altered or reversed.
Malfunctions in connection and other technical errors in communication should have no bearing on the validity of a bet if the wager has already been recorded on the server.
Forgetting one’s password should not be deemed as an excuse to modify or cancel a wager or to void a payout request.
Every user is allowed to have a single gaming account unless otherwise specified by the Melbat administrator. Customers must first seek permission from the administrator before requesting an exemption, any request after that point will be seen as an infringement.
The Client cannot give permission to anybody else to use his/her gaming account.
Melbat maintains the prerogative to limit or decline bets from any individual without providing an explanation or previous notification.
Your Representations and Warranties
You warrant to use the service in a responsible and lawful manner and to abide by all applicable laws and regulations. You will not misuse the service, or engage in any activity that is illegal, harmful, or threatening to the safety of others which implies the following:
- You do not represent other people;
- You are consenting to utilise Melbat in line with the risks associated with it;
- You’re not a compulsive gambler;
- You are old enough to gamble legally;
- You guarantee to give truthful details regarding yourself, like your actual name, surname, address, etc.;
- You accept the responsibility for any taxes that may be applicable to the total amount of winnings;
- You are not a resident of Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, Taiwan, Macau, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro) and the Republic of the Philippines;
- You acknowledge that it is likely you will suffer a financial loss due to gambling or betting;
- You guarantee that all of the money you deposit is legitimate and not obtained by any unlawful means;
- You pledge to only use the account for yourself and not to give it to other people, such as family or friends;
- You agree not to do anything that may disrupt the function of our program;
- You are not permitted to have more than one account. If you have multiple accounts, they will all be locked and any winnings will be forfeited.
